About The Author

Gregg Richard Roberti

Gregg is handsome, genius, articulate and ever so eloquent and very humble. In fact, his strong suit is obviously humility. He’s been writing ever since he was a child, and reading and writing are two of the great joys of his life. He has been married for over 30 years to his beautiful wife, Laurie, and he’s the proud father of 2 wonderful children, Adam and Lauryn. Gregg earned an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts and Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, and then worked as a Registered Nurse for 25 years. He was also a Captain in the US Army Reserves Nurse Corps. He earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a black sash in Wing Chun Kung Fu. An ardent nature lover, he loves taking walks in every kind of weather, as well as hiking, backpacking, mountain climbing, bicycling and swimming. He’s climbed the Grand Teton in Wyoming, the North Maroon Bell in Colorado and the Matterhorn in Switzerland. He is a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and the Captain Paul Watson Foundation (former founder of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society). Gregg is a graduate of the ‘Training’ and the ‘6-Day Course’ by Werner Erhard, ‘The Forum’ by Landmark Education and ‘Enlightened Warrior Training Camp’ by T. Harv Eker. He became vegan in 1989 after reading John Robbins’ best-selling and life-changing book, Diet for a New America. He currently lives in South Florida with his wife and children, loves listening to music, and immensely enjoys the tropical lifestyle…sunshine, palm trees and beautiful beaches. On a daily basis he emails an inspirational quote to family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances.

In the movie, Jeremiah Johnson, a mountain man (played by Will Geer) says to Jeremiah (played by Robert Redford), “You’ve come far, pilgrim. Was it worth the trouble?” Jeremiah’s response, “Huh? What trouble?”

As far as Gregg is concerned, it has been, for the most part, “a joyride for over 7 decades.”

Two favorite quotes: “Be the energy you want to attract.” (Author Unknown) and “Change the world by being yourself. (Amy Poehler).
